The social issue that will be discussed is terrorism. I chose this issue because I think it is one of the greatest threats in today's society.

Terrorism is a systematic use of terror, usually as a means of coercion {forcing a person to do something usually for political or religious reasons}.This is caused by people who do not like other races. Terrorist attacks are often targeted to maximize fear and publicty. Terrorists usually use explosives or poison, but there is also concern about terrorist attacks using weapons of mass destruction. The first and second photos are relevant as they show security outside the Taj-Mahal Hotel during the 2008 Mumbai terrorist attack and the after-effects of the September 11 attack on the US World Trade Center.

I think we can overcome terrorism if we are vigilant for suspicious items and characters. We should also not be complacent even if we catch one of the terrorists as there are many other terrorists around in their network.
