This photo depicts a scene in Thailand when a tsunami struck. I feel this is relevant to the topic of Natural Disasters because it is not made by humans although humans may do things like experiments or tests under the sea which leads to earthquakes which will cause tsunamis.

This photo depicts a scene in a Sumatran village after it got destroyed by a tsunami. i think it is relevant to natural disasters as humans did not cause it to happen directly and may be caused when the earth's crusts push against each other and cause an earthquake which might lead to a tsunami.

This is a scene of a top view of a hurricane called Hurricane Katrina. it is relevant to natural disasters because no human has the potential or energy to start a hurricane. it is started by mass movements that are made below the sea level.

This is a scene of a volcanic eruption. it is relevant to natural disasters because it happened naturally and does not have anything to do with humans although sometimes,humans could have done something to cause it.

This is a scene of an avalanche at Mt.Timpanogos.It is relevant to the issue because it has not been done by humans but there are many cases where snowboarders cause the snow to loosen and therefor cause an avalanche.

The topic that will be discussed on is natural disasters. Natural disasters play a very big part in global warming. Lets take a volcanic eruption for example, it releases ashes into the atmosphere and pollute the air and destroy the ozone layer. here in Singapore, we are not prone to natural disasters but think of other people in other parts of the world, they may be struggling for survival even while we are playing our games or studying.

Mass movements above or under the surface has enough potential to start a natural disaster like tsunamis. A natural hazard is a threat of an event that will have a negative effect on people or the environment. Many natural hazards are related, e.g. earthquakes can result in tsunamis, drought can lead directly to famine and disease.

The government of different countries could build Tsunami walls and send out a few groups of soldiers to check if there is a possibility of a natural disaster like a volcanic eruption of an earthquake so that people will have time to get ready to evacuate if needed.

Natural disasters kill many people every year. if people could know when a natural disaster is coming, the death rate of people killed by natural disasters will decrease.
